With regards to craftsmanship and legacy, the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit at Kalady is a money box. In the year 1995, when the college was set up, craftsman J R Palakkal was appointed to paint a progression of pictures dependent on the life of Adi Sankaracharya.
